Please start with “My name is Claire and I have applied for the undergraduate admission for the 2018 fall term at your institution.”
And then go on saying all the best qualities about Cal Poly and what makes me want to go there so badly. Please include that it has been my dream school since I was little somewhere in the formal letter.
