Internship Experiential Learning Activities Experiential learning is defined as “learning activities that involve the learner in the process of active engagement with and critical reflection about phenomena being studied”.
Using David Kolb’s Learning Cycle described in Chapter 1, explain how you plan to engage in experiential learning and to be an experiential learner in your upcoming practicum.
Responses should demonstrate critical thinking and insight and must be at least 150 words in a length sufficient to address the questions in some depth. RLL majors and minors are strongly encouraged to seek out opportunities for “experiential learning.” Experiential learning consists of outside-the-classroom activities, such as internships, research projects, study abroad programs and service-learning courses.
