We started to withdraw of the Middle Kingdom’s material wealth and ended in a rather contested Shanghai. How can we use material culture and performance of identity to understand Chinese civilization? What are the implications then and now? According to modern space theory, space and society

cities, the subject exists in urban culture in way of time and space. It influences the cultural context of higher education internationalization through constructing stratified urban social space and accelerating the internationalization of higher education’s material basis.
