In the essay, please explain: what you did to get people to register and others to complete the “Why Voting Matters” cards; what worked well as an organizer and what you learned that will help you do a better job of moving people to political action, in particular voting; what challenges you experienced during the whole process that help you understand the challenges taking leadership and participating in a democracy; and most important– what you learned about why people do not vote. Please do not just say “they were too busy to bother”…
