SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION – NEED BASED
The Career Education Scholarship Fund is dedicated to providing scholarships to full-time students who attend a school owned by Career Education Corporation and have financial need. To be considered for a need based scholarship of $500 to $2,000 per academic year from the Career Education Scholarship Fund, please complete this Scholarship Application and return it to the Financial Aid Office at your school.
General Scholarship Rules
1. Applicants must be enrolled in or attending an academic program at the institution listed in the
scholarship application. Only full-time students with demonstrated financial need are eligible to receive
need-based awards.
2. Disbursements for awarded scholarships will be forfeited should a student’s course load drop to less
than full-time.
3. The applicant must have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and must meet with a Financial Aid representative to determine whether or not he or she has Unmet Financial Need.
4. Scholarship Applications will be reviewed and applicants will be judged on the following criteria:

5. Scholarship recipients must continue to satisfy the school’s stated Standards of Academic Progress
(SAP) as defined in the school’s catalog to remain eligible for the scholarship.
6. Scholarship funds will not be paid in cash. The scholarship funds will be credited to the recipient’s
school account at the beginning of each term for one academic year.
