Health Teaching/Promotion Presentation
Students can complete this project as a group (for example if a group of two or three students are at the same clinical site, they have the option of working on the same project depending on the type of project). When working in a group, it may be ideal to select a group team leader who will facilitate the assignment completion process.
The students are obligated, and must have their project plan approved by their clinical instructor and preceptor prior to starting work on the project. To complete the health promotion/teaching project, students will submit and present the final outcome to the Preceptor at the Clinical Site. For this project, the students will have to produce a material, an item, or a document that will be resourceful and beneficial to the site. A report must accompany the Clinical Project, and the students will also be required to present the project to their preceptor, faculty/instructor, and other pertinent stakeholders.
