aggression, or withdrawal) and compare the selected tendency with an instance of safeguarding
that you find in Scripture. Discuss how the safeguarding tendency was used in the biblical
narrative. Identify areas in your life where you are prone to use safeguarding tendencies. What
can we learn from the Scriptures about what God thinks about safeguarding tendencies?
