Brainstorm ideas for a short story in the style of Flannery O’Connor.
1) Open the slides titled “Views of the Woods” (Links to an external site.)
2) Complete as many **”prompts” as you can before the end of our session (1-1.5 hours). You can spend extra time on the prompts that inspire you; you can skip the prompts that don’t inspire you. There is no max/min limit for each prompt.
3) Submit your short story ideas on canvas.
**Prompt Instructions: First, read the passage by Flannery O’Connor. Pay attention to her style, structure, and word choice. Use her writing as inspiration when you respond to the prompt. The prompts don’t need to relate to each other; we’re just brainstorming ideas for a short story. But if you find it easy to connect them all, you should go for it.
