The next stage involves integrating the personnel of the two companies into one unit to build the team momentum required for the success of the organization. This will help to develop the human capital that ensures the planning and retention of the best talent needed for the proper implementation of the company’s mission and vision. Integrating the cultures, formulating mission and vision statement, and development of the human capital can be done within one year period.

After the actual merger, the synergies will automatically be obtained and this will help the companies to create some opportunities that were not available in case they were working independently (DivyaPriya, 2012). After the merger, the companies will form one big company and this will enable them to achieve economies of scale, resulting into more profits.
