Communication in Different Types of Emergencies While this week has a lot of information in the guide that was presented in the intro to this week, one of the important components is communicating appropriately with parents.
Using the section provided in the resource, create a page for your parent handbook that details how you will communicate with parents and families in different types of emergencies. Make sure to list at least five different types of emergencies/disasters and how you would communicate and what you would communicate. Make sure that your communication is complete including methods for reaching parents if phones are down, etc. I will leave this assignment as vague on purpose because in emergencies, you never know what may happen and you have to think on your feet.
