Cotton is arguably the most important fiber in the history of the fashion industry. Apparel consumers are becoming more and more concerned with the environmental impacts and sustainability of the fashion industry. The objective of this case study is to identify and gauge consumers’ concerns with sustainability issues relevant to the cotton industry. Possible approaches to achieving this objective include analyzing consumers’ comments on Social Media, evaluating marketing efforts by the cotton industry, as well as collecting and reviewing research evidence relevant to sustainable fashion
