Instructions:
Design a novel study in the area of sensation and perception. Compared to other lab reports, you will have the opportunity to be creative, use your scientific reasoning, and literature search skills to design a study that could actually be done in the future. Not counting titles and headings, tables, figures, charts, and references, your entire lab report should be 5-8 pages.
Rubric:
20 points worth 20% of mark
Intro (5 points): 1 for APA, 2 for clarity and writing and 2 for content (relevance and depth).
Methods (5 points): 2 for clarity and writing and 2 for content and 1 for novelty/originality
Results/ Predictions (5 points): 1 for APA and style (graphs or tables), 4 for clarity and content.
Discussion (5 points): 2 for clarity and writing 2 for content and 1 for implications
Please note that the written aspects of the lab must be in prose (not point form) and both grammar and content will be evaluated.
