Documentation on Culture Power Politics Choose a topic of your interest related to some aspect of water, culture, power and politics.
Chose something for which you have access to adequate documentation, whether through transcripts, photos, video, media coverage, websites, blogs, or printed literature. If it is possible for you to attend the event, you may create your own documentation (take notes, pictures, video, etc.). There are no restrictions on time period or location but the material you choose must show something about the intersection of water, culture, power and politics. Apply the insights from class readings to describe and analyze your material. Top marks will only go to papers that critically engage with our class readings. Consider, for example, whether your material supports or negates some of the theories we have reviewed, or more likely that it suggests some ways in which we might modify those theories. Which approaches do you find useful for making sense of your material? Which arguments are persuasive?
