Take notes: you might not want to do this during the service but immediately afterward. Ask yourself questions and write them down. This will help when writing down what you experienced.
Take pictures: I need proof that you really attended the service or event. Take a picture of yourself at the event and/or pictures of the environment.
Do research for the event beforehand. Call ahead. Plan ahead. This is very important for your safety and for an enjoyable learning experience.
Write four double spaced pages recounting your experiences. What did you learn? What did you see? Is there any significant historical presence? How does the community engage with its tradition?
