Inequality of Wealth in the United States Each student will write a research proposal of between 10 and 15 pages (printed, double-spaced). The paper should describe, in detail, a hypothetical research design.
The hypotheses should be sociologically substantive. The paper should be in the ASA (American Sociological Association) format. This includes citation format, the inclusion of an abstract, etc. It should include an Introduction, in which you describe your hypothesis and the sociological literature relevant to it, a Methods section, which describes your research procedures in detail, a Results section, in which you make up some expected results, and a Discussion section in which you discuss the ramifications of your research.
