FORMAT OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
Your completed assignment should contain:
1. MLA Style Title Page OR First page MLA style (Don’t forget to give a tentative working title to your intended essay, which reflects the focus and direction of your research)
2. One paragraph Research Proposal, arising from the materials you have selected, which outlines briefly what you intend to do in the essay. It should arise from the three academic articles or chapters, listed in your annotated bibliography.
3. An essay outline, containing:
-The essay title
-A thesis and / or a purpose statement ensuing from the title
– Formal outline, showing how the argument will develop
4. Annotated bibliography comprising TWO of the four ARTICLES listed above (topic 12, or topic 2), and ONE SCHOLARLY ARTICLE, which you will find yourself in the Scott library electronic resources (please add the URL of the selected article as well, to make it easier for your TL to find and evaluate it). The article that you will add will have to complement in some way the two already listed; to contradict them; or to develop further some aspect found in one or both of them
