Qualitative Data Analysis and Research Study Summary Find a research article that reports some type of qualitative data with analyses [that is, NO theory pieces, meta-analyses, literature reviews, book chapters, or critiques/summaries].
Must be an original research study from a peer-reviewed journal (preferably in the health administration/health care management or business related field).
***It NEEDS to focus on social media use (social media: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)***
Read the article. Summarize the theory/framework, method, and results. Write a two page (MAXIMUM) summary. In your summary, be sure to include:
What is the research problem?
What theory/background is driving the research?
What hypotheses/research questions are developed? (hint, do not list them, describe them)
What are the primary methods used to study the phenomenon?
What are the key findings (hint: look in the Discussion section)?
Provide a brief critique of the study (e.g., how would you conduct it differently?)
