Assignment: Test Bias and Test Fairness in Group Testing
Objective: Students will research the history of charges of test bias and evaluation of test fairness with regard to a particular societal group (e.g., African Americans, women, the elderly). Summarize any current or historical controversies regarding standardized testing and its applications with respect this group. Evaluate the evidence offered regarding test bias and test fairness in the present day with regard to this group. The paper must consist of 5 pages. This does not include the title/cover page and reference page.
1. Assignment must have a cover page (centered). The cover page must include: name, date, course number and title, assignment name, and university.
2. Assignment should be written in Times New Roman, 12-font, double-spaced, style (no spacing).
