The Conflict in Dialogue Essay Paper Write a dialogue of at least 10 lines between your main character and another character. Begin with the line: “Why can’t you listen for once?”
The assumption here is that this dialogue is beginning midstream. That’s fine. Just keep it going and see what this apparent conflict reveals about the characters. I learned a lot about crime fiction writing in an odd place—the theater.
