We’ve all used Wikipedia, and it’s certainly okay for “quick and dirty” information. However, be sure you’ve read the preceding lesson on the problems with Wikipedia before you engage in this discussion about whether Wikipedia is appropriate for academic research.
Discussion–How reliable is Wikipedia as a source for research? Some things to consider and possibly discuss as you respond:
