Topic: Compare and contrast the characters of Iago and Othello. Consider how they are similar and/or different. Even though both of these men are murderers, do you believe that Iago and Othello are different types of characters? Are both of these characters inherently evil, or are these characters forced into situations because of their respective circumstances? Do you pity either of these characters or see them as tragic figures? Carefully examine the development of these two characters throughout the course of the play.
