As an increase in terror threats is met by new technologies, such tools as surveillance cameras and
full-body scanners have become a reality of everyday life. Some people believe these measures are effective in countering terrorism, deterring crime and making people feel safe. Others worry that our rights to privacy will become less and less respected.
