Review at least 1 other student’s Key Assignment Outline and provide meaningful feedback. Refrain from general feedback, such as simply stating “good job.” Your feedback to other students is most helpful if you not only point out weak areas but also offer suggestions for improvement. The best feedback takes a three-stage approach to identify what was done well, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.

  •  What are the relative benefits and drawbacks of each of the data sources when analyzing the specific forms of crime you selected?
  •  What trends are evident in each of the forms of crime? Are these trends related to definitional changes, or other issues that may impact the picture of crime we get? Make sure to identify long term trends at the 10-year, and 20-year intervals.

For this assignment, you must compose a 600-word paper that addresses theological knowledge, which can be applied to your understanding of what it means to be a Christian.

NOTE: You must choose a topic from the list of approved topics from the Application Paper Topics document.

As you respond to the prompt, reflect on how theological truths can best be applied to your current sphere of influence. Using the textbook, Theology Applied: A Living Faith as an example, you are to interact with a theological topic by providing the theological definition, the biblical foundation, and the practical application of the doctrine.
All of the following requirements must be met:
1. Demonstrate ownership of the ideas that you present by providing your unique insight as evidence of your careful consideration of the topic you choose.
2. Provide a logical link between the description of the concepts from the course and the conclusions or implications that you draw in your reflection. In other words, your conclusion must be logically derived from the application of the theological concept to your life.
3. Focus on depth of understanding, rather than breadth of coverage. That is, focus on examining your theological knowledge and understanding of being a Christian as it relates to one area, rather than trying to cover multiple aspects.
4. Include an introduction paragraph complete with a thesis statement.
5. Include a conclusion paragraph that summarizes the points you have made.
6. Include descriptive headings for Parts 1, 2, and 3.

Part 1
Provide a theological definition from a theological reference book. Explain the doctrine by using and interacting with a theological definition from an outside source (a source that is not used in this course).

Part 2
Explain the biblical foundation of the chosen theological term. Demonstrate where this particular theological concept is found within Scripture and trace the concept throughout the Bible. Include at least 2 biblical references in this section.

Part 3
Apply the theological term to your life and sphere of influence. Explain how the truth of the theological term influences how you live your daily life and how the truth of the theological term can best be lived out in your daily life.
Format your paper in a Microsoft Word document using current APA, MLA, or Turabian style (whichever corresponds to your degree program). Review the Application Paper Grading Rubric to see the specific grading criteria by which you will be evaluated before submitting your paper.

Read the following case scenario

Micro Bike is a motor scooter/bike company based in Buckhead, Georgia. The company makes foldable “green” motor scooters for inner city use. Although sales have been rising in the United States, the market size and population density is significantly lower than what exists in Asia. Mark and Jessica Lapin are the owners of Micro Bike.

The Lapins have been studying growth trends for the industry because of increased online orders. Currently the business has gross sales of $3.2 million; 2017 projected sales of $4.9 million. The owner’s believe actual sales may exceed projected sales as online orders have doubled in the past three months. Forty-five percent of Micro Bike’s sales are comprised of e-commerce sales. Ecommerce sales continue to grow.

Three major countries (Japan, India, and Vietnam) within the Asian market show huge potential for the company. Most orders are coming from Ho Chi Minh, Mumbai, and Tokyo. The couple is considering going international while the market is still open to newcomers by opening an owner operated local dealership. Are these cities the best place to go? There is so much to consider. The Lapins need more information to make the decision.

Instructions

Step One: Research

In this project, you will help Micro Bike research the idea of going global and then write a report that will be addressed to Mark and Jessica Lapin. To write the report, you will research the mobile scooter industry in the context of the elements below that will be discussed in the report.

The advantages and disadvantages of going international;
How globalization will affect Micro Bike’s success;
Major challenges in global trade;
Select two of the modern theories of international trade discussed in the class and found in the course material and apply each theory to Micro Bike. Explain how each theory aides a company in making the decision to go international and specifically aides in Micro Bikes’ decision to go global.

After completing this part of the research, you are now ready to make a recommendation to Mark and Jessica Lapin.

Write a recommendation that answers the question “Should Micro Bike Go International: Why or Why Not?”

Step Two: Which Country

Assume the answer is yes

  • Select the best country to go international and explain in detail the reasoning behind your recommendation. Support the conclusions with research and class materials;
  • Explain why the other countries were not selected;
    Country attractiveness: which city and country is most attractive for a Motor Bike?
  • What trade agreements, if any would apply to doing business in Mumbai, Ho Chi Minh, and Tokyo?
  • Do any of the trade agreements work better for US investors than others? If so, which one, and how is the trade agreement better. If not, why not?
  • Identify at least: two political, two economic, and two cultural factors for each country that are particularly important to the Lapin’s decision. Explain how each factor could influence the success of Micro Ride abroad.

Below are resources that will assist you in the research.

  • Sources to Start Your Research

  • Future of Urban Mobility
  • 2016 Business Guide for Doing Business in Vietnam
