Community Policing Models Writing Assignment #2 – Students will write a 2 page paper about an aspect of criminal justice.
Students may choose from the following: Community Policing Models, Community Corrections, Specialty Courts (ie: Veteran Courts, Drug Courts, or Family Courts), or a current topic. If a student wishes to choose a current issue – not related to one of the topics listed above – the topic must be approved by the professor in advance. For submission of the paper: Please turn in the paper during class (paper copy). Police, the body of officers representing the civil authority of government. Police typically are responsible for maintaining public order and safety, enforcing the law, and preventing, detecting, and investigating criminal activities.
