Feminist Vision of Peace Social Locations According to Duncanson, a feminist vision of peace must be inclusive of various social locations and experiences, expansive (moving beyond a formal peace agreement and moving beyond traditional masculine conceptions of security) and transformative (changing unjust structures for the better).

Apply all three of these characteristics of feminist peace to your peace solution for a current problem (or “insecurity”) in the following contexts: environmental degradation that occurs because of a need for fuel
In your solution, which we will call your peace vision, 1) describe the injustice structure you wish to transform. This is the problem you want to remedy. 2) Describe the social justice, economic justice, or ecological security outcome(s) you seek. This is the “transformation” or better world you seek. 3) Describe the extent to which you will invite members of various identity groups to join your plan for peace and how you expect them to participate. Describe the diversity of participants and the diversity of those who might benefit from your vision. 4) Finally, describe the communication methods you might use to build peace and sustain positive security.
