International Business Strategy Assignment Introduction
Deliveroo was a food delivery start-up launched in 2013 with its main HQs located in London. Its business grew rapidly in a short period of time and in 2016 had reached 50 cities across the world. Deliveroo had entered prominent markets such as Australia, Singapore, Germany, UAE, etc. In 2018, the company had expanded to 100 cities across the globe. Deliveroo was further expanding its market presence in both domestic and international locations by launching an innovative concept called ëMarketplaceí and was further planning to expand its footprint in newer markets such as India and Taiwaní.

International Business Strategy Assignment Your Task
You are a peer to peer analyst working for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) in their London offices and have been asked to prepare the following report:
- Critically evaluate the key emerging issues & industry trends in global ëpeer-to-peer food delivery industryí. (Approx. 600 words)
- Undertake a critical competitive analysis of Deliveroo compared to itsí competitors in the sector using appropriate strategic concepts & tools. (Approx. 800 words)
- Summarise the industry and company-specific issues Deliveroo face from late 2018 onwards and how they might respond to ensure sustained strategic performance. (Approx. 600 words)

Ï Font size: 14 for headings in the report, and 12/11 for text.
Ï Line spacing: 1.5 line spacing in the entire report.
Ï Typeface: Tahoma, Arial or Calibri ONLY!
Ï Use a ëwhiteí background and do not superimpose this on images or logos.
Ï You should use salient headings and sub-headings (numbered) throughout the report.
Ï Try to standardize all charts and diagrams: it is expected that you will reconfigure all tables or charts depicting data that adds value to your submission. Cut and pasting of such diagrams will result in a reduced grade.
Ï This is meant to be a visual report and therefore you are required to visualize your submission using supporting embedded images, diagrams, figures, and tables in addition to the narrative where possible.
Ï Please ensure you use Harvard referencing to cite all relevant literature and sources and include a valid list of references.
Ï Avoid including unnecessary appendices; marks will be deducted for unnecessary appendices that are not cross-referenced in the report body.
Ï Your research should be drawn from valid and reliable sources and include seminal academic literature.
Ï Make sure you submit before 12.59 on the deadline date or you will be penalized by registry: 10% deducted if submitted within 24hrs of the deadline, or you will be awarded zero % if submitted more than 24hrs after the deadline. This does not alter your right to Mitigating Circumstances or special arrangements for those with registered disabilities.
Sometimes blackboard may be slow as many students tend to submit at the last minute. To avoid any penalty for late submission, make sure you set your personal deadline a couple of hours before. Remember, if you submit at 1301, itís 10% less.
