Kants Ethics on Consequences of Actions Research Paper

While Kant`s ethics are based on intentions and decisions and seem to quite nicely accommodate the commonly held view that a morally good person is a person with the best intentions, Kant`s ethics also seem to imply that the consequences of our actions don`t matter. Provide your best argument for whether or not what is morally good ought to be based on intentions or consequences. Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) is, by common consent, one of the most profound and original philosophers who ever lived. Of these last two works, the Groundwork is by far the easier to understand.
