Are the resources through the government being distributed evenly or going to certain areas?
Answer each of the questions. Be sure to cite sources correctly and use APA format.
- Who has the power in the community? Formal and informal roles?
- Who is underrepresented in the community? Who does not have the power? For example: homeless veterans. Veterans of Foreign Wars
- How is the community portrayed in the media? Is there a lot of media coverage on combat veterans with PTSD?
- What resources are not in the community? Lack of funding, lack of patient therapy, length of time it takes for combat veterans to get help, difficulty of process.
- Statewide laws, police force, politicians, elections, VA hospitals, military bases.
- How social work affects this population. How we can use our power for good?
