Information regarding the Midterm Assignment: For the midterm assignment, each student must submit a 4-5 page paper that is an expansion of a previous reaction paper.

Choose one (1) source (which can be an article, a book, or a documentary that the class has engaged thus far) and write an analysis and a reaction to it.
The format of the paper is:
1st part: 1st page – biography of the author.
2nd part: 3-4 page analysis and reaction to the source.
Your analysis must include 3 supporting sources/documents from the material we have engaged thus far. Thus, it is expected that your paper will have four (4) sources total.
2nd part of the midterm assignment:
Each student must create a corresponding PowerPoint presentation that is 5-7 minutes long and based on your midterm paper.
Please follow the format of the paper in your presentation; first present the biography of the author of the source, then engage the class with your analysis and reaction to the source. This presentation will be followed by an opportunity for the class to ask 2-3 questions.
Your midterm will be graded based on:
- The paper itself
- Presentation and verbal communication
- Creativity and innovation
- Audience reception, engagement, and interaction
On Blackboard, you will find that each of you has been placed in a group. To be clear: this is an individual assignment, and the groups simply delegate which day you will be presenting.
On the day of your presentation, please turn in a physical copy of your paper, and email a soft copy of both your paper and presentation to myself and
