The Paris Agreement Review Essay Paper Final Capstone Research Paper.

Below is what I have for my oral presentation. Can you change this format into an oral presentation format? It should reflect on the papers with Ethics and Diversity you wrote.

  1. will you frame your selected topic within your field of study and explain why you chose that topic? – Education inequality is a contemporary issue in global society.

Millions of children in low-income families and in the developing countries lack reliable access to quality equal to quality education in Vietnam. International Journal of Educational Development, 33(1), 74-87.

  1. What is the significance of the issue you have been analyzing? – Education is the basic foundation on through which other social-economic and political goals can be achieved; quality education is the basic support system for the wellbeing of a society. The need to achieve equitable participation of the world economy, to achieve peace, to solve social economic issues, countries need to achieve higher literacy level thus necessitating the study on lack of equitable access to quality education (Chan, LKirsop, & Arunachalam, 2011). Without access to such education, mankind will continue to suffer from various forms of social0-economic and political issues. Chan, L., Kirsop, B., & Arunachalam, S. (2011). Towards open and equitable access to research and knowledge for development. PLoS medicine, 8(3), e1001016.

The Paris Agreement Review Essay Paper Literature Review

  1. Highlight the key points you identified in your Literature Review. Write transitions between your main points. – Lack of education leads to delayed justice and affected the social well-being at large thus necessitating its study to enable its mitigation. More so, Lack of education leads to poor living conditions, poor health, and affects social situations. Countries with higher illiteracy level have a high preference of war, ethnic crashes, diseases outbreaks, and political unrest. Also, education improves the chances of a relatively higher income level later in life. Furthermore, education is the power that aids the course of improving and correcting various social-economic issues such as income equality, domestic violence, drug and substance addiction, child labor, health disparity, racial discrimination, war, bullying, and another form of political-structure violence; Lack of equitable access to such a power is a social-economic loss.
  1. Explain briefly how you narrowed your focus from the global issue reviewed to a more specific topic. Justify your decision.

I narrowed my topic from the general lack of equitable access to quality education into a focus on the significance of literacy and education equality to social-economic goals. This way I was able to evaluate the role of literacy on the achievement of social-economic goals thus addressed the objectives of the study. More particularly, I related the topic to the eight millennium development goals (MDGs) and discussed how it is impossible to achieve the other seven within an illiterate society as compared to a relative achievement in a literate society. Countries who had high illiteracy level took relatively long to achieve the other seven goals as compared to countries with relatively high literacy level (Polat, 2011). I used a literature review to prove the argument that education is the basic foundation on through which other socioeconomic and political goals can be achieved.

Polat, F. (2011). Inclusion in education: A step towards social justice. International Journal of Educational Development, 31(1), 50-58.

  1. What key themes emerged in your Diversity Perspectives paper? Explain how these relate to your selected topic. – In my discussion, there emerges the theme of gender equality, educational inequality, structured violence, and social well-being. These themes relate to my main topic as thy entails social values that are achieved/ improved through access to equitable quality education.
  1. What strategies might result status would give a more similar impression of the study. Education Inequality is a topic worth further studies following its dynamics from one area to another and for different class of people.
  1. What are the key ethical theories underpinning your Ethical Perspectives paper? – Utilitarian theory, Deontological ethics, and the policies of justice, inclusivity, and objectivity
  1. What competing perspectives are identified in your work, and what is the significance of those perspectives? – a). Education is the basic foundation through which other social-economic and political goals can be achieved. b). peace and improved health are the basics without which even education cannot be achieved Significance:

Identifying the cause of education equality and the role of literacy level in the course of pursuing various social economic goals can help a country to take the most efficient course and priority of improving the wellbeing of its society. This can even explain better why some countries were not able to meet the 2015 ultimatum of the millennium development goals, despite being much committed.

  1. Summarize the ethical issues, policies, and action strategies that might result in more equitable treatment and are worthy of further study? – Utilitarian ethics suggest the achievement of the optimum good for the highest number of people. In the study topic of equitable access of quality education, the main objectives are to suggest the best remedy for lack of such education to reap optimum benefit from the available resources.

Deontological ethics suggest inclusive treating people with dignity, respect and fairly. The policies of justice, inclusivity, and objectivity should be used to evaluate the state of access to education in the world, to suggest possible remedies that would lead to more equitable educational access. This necessitates further studies for the identification of remedies for the education situation.

  1. Plan to wrap up your oral presentation with a concise summary of the work you’ve done. – Today, lack of equitable access to quality education needs dire intervention  measures: 67 while children did not access primary school education across the world by 2016, while 226 million adolescent’s children did not access quality secondary education.

Lack of access to quality education denies people the power that aids the course of improving and correcting various social-economic issues such as income equality, domestic violence, drug and substance addiction, child labor, health disparity, racial discrimination, war, bullying, and another form of political-structure violence; Lack of equitable access to such a power is a social-economic loss. There need to be more studies to find the remedies of lack of equitable access to quality education.

Although the First Amendment generally prevents the U.S. government from engaging in censorship, an exception exists for broadcast radio and television. Unlike cable and satellite programming, which requires viewers and listeners to “opt in” with a paid subscription to access content, broadcast radio and television use the public airwaves to carry transmissions that are readily accessible for free by anyone with a television or a radio. In 1973, in a case involving comedian George Carlin’s “Dirty Words” monologue, the Supreme Court held that although the monologue wasn’t obscene, the government (through the Federal Communications Commission, or FCC) could nonetheless regulate indecent material when vulnerable listeners, such as children, may be listening.

Do you believe that in some instances the Government should have the ability to regulate information that is given to the public, or does this action an unlawful interference or overreach by governmental authorities?
