Darwin’s Living Legacy (20 points)
“Darwin’s Living Legacy,” by Gary Stix, was published in Scientific American, January 2009
(pg. 38-43), in honor of the sesquicentennial (150-year anniversary) of Darwin’s famous book on
evolution. You can find copies of this article through the SJSU Library website, at
http://library.sjsu.edu. There are multiple copies, but only the PDF one has the figures and
sidebar information. Find the paper and read it. The King Library also has a physical archive of
Scientific American in the basement.
