Do a financial analysis of the company to evaluate its performance such as its Revenue, Cost, Gross profit margin, ROC, Cash flow and their growth rate over the last 5 or 10 years (preferably broken down into segments e.g. in 10K reports). What do these numbers and growth rates tell you about the current status and future trend for the company? For example, how fast is the company growing? Has the growth rate slowed down?
What does the company’s portfolio of markets/products lines/businesses look like? How much does each contribute to the corporate profitability (to the level you can break it down, e.g. in 10K reports)? As much as you can find, where do you see the position of different products/businesses in its BCG matrix and product lifecycle (S curve), e.g. emerging, growth, mature, decline, etc.? What are the connections and synergies between these products/businesses?
Which product(s)/business(es) are positioned to be the major growth engine driving the company’s future growth? Content Summary: The purpose of this study is to determine the contribution of male unemployment and each partner’s problem drinking to risk for male-to-female partner violence (MFPV) and female-to-male partner violence (FMPV) among a sample of construction industry workers and their spouses/partners. Participants in the sample (n = 848 couples) completed cross-sectional health behavior surveys. Multivariate logistic regression models of MFPV and FMPV, with adjustment for demographic and psychosocial variables, were developed. Approximately 20% of couples reported MFPV, and 24% reported FMPV. Results indicated that couples in which the male was a problem drinker, and in which the male worker reported being currently unemployed, were at risk for MFPV. Number of months unemployed by the male worker was significantly associated with FMPV, but problem drinking was not associated with this outcome. Male and female impulsivity were significantly associated with risk for MFPV and FMPV, and the male’s report of adverse childhood events was associated with increased likelihood of MFPV. There was no evidence for the effects of unemployment being moderated (exacerbated) by problem drinking. Workplace-based prevention efforts may be a feasible and important strategy to reduce problem drinking and partner violence among high-risk occupational groups.

Content Summary: A changing economy may impart additional stress on an industry that reports higher than average rates of substance use and comprises of occupations that report “poorer mental health.” Working within the construction industry can entail working long hours, overtime, and irregular schedules, which may lead to eventual burnout and employee turnover. Burnout has been associated with various mental health problems, including psychological distress, anxiety, depression, reduced self-esteem and substance abuse. Research suggests, however, that social support from colleagues and supervisors, as well as a workplace that supports work-life balance could lessen burnout and associated health complaints. Workers in the construction industry also reported higher than average rates of at-risk alcohol use, illicit drug use, tobacco use, and moderate or heavy smoking. Research has indicated that those who have a substance abuse diagnosis, including those who smoked, were high users of health care services and had excess associated health care costs. APA bibliographic citation: Workplace Stress, Stress Effects, and Coping Mechanisms in the Construction Industry. (2014). Journal of Construction Engineering & Management, 140(3), 1. https://doi.org/10.1061/(ASCE)CO.1943-7862.0000807

Content Summary: Many construction professionals experience high levels of stress. Workplace stress leads to psychological, physiological, and sociological strain effects. Sufferers adopt different coping mechanisms in attempts to mitigate their condition. Using an online survey, opinions were sought from architects, civil engineers, quantity surveyors, and project and construction managers in South Africa. The contribution of the research reported in this paper lies in its examination of the work stress experienced by construction professionals in a developing country characterized by economic hardship and social problems, such as inequality and crime. Most respondents experience high levels of stress at work. Architects (more than engineers, quantity surveyors, and project and construction managers) and female (more than male) professionals feel stressed. Psychological effects of workplace stress include the feeling of not being appreciated by others for a job well-done, feeling dissatisfied with one’s own performance at work, and feeling tense at work. Physiological effects include disturbances to usual sleep patterns, difficulty in relaxing after hours, and difficulty in concentrating. Sociological effects include a strain on family life, social activities, and social relationships. A wide range of positive coping mechanisms (or countermeasures) is reported, including physical exercise in addition to intellectual and cultural activities. From a negative-coping perspective, consumption of alcohol is widespread, with more than one-third of respondents consuming 3-9 units/week. One in six respondents reports smoking of up to 40 cigarettes/day, whereas use of narcotics (such as marijuana, cocaine, mandrax, ecstasy, heroin, and methamphetamine) at least once in the previous 12 months is reported by 1 in 20. A duty-of-care ethos suggests that appropriate and carefully targeted stress-management strategies should be implemented by organizations within the construction industry. Further research is recommended to explore the effectiveness of organizational and personal stress-management interventions

Content Summary: To identify the prevalence of risk related to drug use among workers of a construction company and to evaluate how it relates to sociodemographic variables. Methods: A cross-sectional study conducted with 418 workers who were given the Alcohol, Smoking, and Substance Involvement Screening Test. Multinominal logistic regression was used as a measure of association. Results: Tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, and inhalants were the most used drugs. Moderate and high risks were related, respectively, to the use of tobacco (32.5% and 5.7%), alcohol (26.8% and 6.9%), cannabis (2.6% and 2.4%) and cocaine (1.2% and 0.5%). Conclusion: Tobacco and alcohol were the main drugs used by workers. The level of risk related to the use of tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, and cocaine were high when compared to that of the general population. Com 874: Final Project Instructions
The goal of your final presentation is to provide you with experience in presenting a professional
talk that demonstrates your leadership abilities in solving a specific supply chain issue. It is
hoped that this presentation will address an actual problem in your place of work that you could
present to management at some point. Preparing your final presentation will require the
following steps:
Step 1: Select your topic. First, identify a supply chain issue that is professionally relevant to
your job. It may be a problem you are working on right now with some of your colleagues. It
may be a problem that you think might exist in the future that should be addressed now. It
would be best if the problem is real and relevant to your job, and perhaps most importantly, is
capable of demonstrating your leadership skills. Select something that is specific, that has real
financial or practical implications, and for which you can identify some viable solutions.
Step 2: Prepare a Presentation Plan. Once you have selected your topic, you will need to
create a 2-3 page outline of your presentation. The key to the outline is that you are telling a
story to make a point. The story is that you have discovered a problem that needs to be solved,
and you have listed some useful options for solving that problem. That story requires a fair
amount of research about the problem and its implications. It will also require that you provide:
1. A statement of your goals and the specific response you want from the audience. What
do you want the audience to think or do in response to your message? How will you
know when you have the response you’re looking for?
2. An analysis of the audience including their level of knowledge about the problem, and
the psychographic and demographic analysis of the audience. See chapters 15-17 in
the book.
3. A Card Talk analysis of your presentation that includes what cards you will play, the
styles you will try to use to engage the audience, and a rationale for these choices.
4. An outline of the presentation that details: 1) the attention getter you will use, 2) the
problem statement including supporting research, 3) options for solving the problem, 4)
the best option and the benefits of selecting that option that includes a value proposition
to make your solution compelling, and 5) the closing statement that summarizes the
actions you want the audience to take in response to your presentation.
5. A statement of what kind of presentation format you’ll use and why.
I will provide some feedback about the outline before you get started. Feel free to email me with
any questions.
Step 3: Create your presentation online. You will give the presentation online and record it
using your computer. This will be an 8-10 minute presentation that tells a story. You can record
it as many times as you like to get the presentation you are most happy with. Remember, the
cards you play and the styles you select must help promote the response you’re trying to
receive from the audience.
These final presentations will be graded during the last week of the online class, but they will be
reviewed during the last day of class on April 23, 2016. The rubrics for evaluating the outline
(100 points possible) and the presentation (200 points possible) are provided in the Course
Materials portion of the online classroom

The topic i would like to present on is Supply Chain & Distribution forecasting. I need assistance on writing the 2-3 page paper.

Macro Policy Simulation

Please go once again to the Macro Policy Simulation. You may work in teams of two if you like, turning in the same final printout (with your own name on it). However, the answers to the questions below should be completed individually.

http://www-01.glendale.edu/mmaier/macropolicy/

This time you will play the simulation in two different scenarios.

1. For inflation scenario, choose “Fiscal and Monetary Policy”

Run the simulation again until you are satisfied with the results remembering that you will face trade-offs.

A. What were the main problems in the economy when you started? How well did you resolve those problems? What problems remain? Why did those new problems occur (explain using economic theory)?

B. For the first and last year in the simulation, describe your thought process in choosing each of the fiscal and monetary policy numbers. If some numbers are larger than others, or some positive and some negative, explain why. If you left a policy at zero, explain why.

C. Then choose another year in which your fiscal and monetary policies were different from the policies described in question B. Explain each of the fiscal and monetary policy choices in this year.

2. Choose a new scenario (not depression or inflation). Then choose “Fiscal and Monetary Policy with random shocks”

Run this scenario twice with different policy choices. Print out both results.

A. What were the main problems in the economy when you started? How well did you resolve those problems? What problems remain? Why did those new problems occur (explain using economic theory)?

B. Choose one year from each run of the scenario. Describe your thought process in choosing each of the fiscal and monetary policy numbers. If you changed your numbers, explain why you did so. If some numbers are larger than others, or some positive and some negative, explain why. If you left a policy at zero, explain why.

C. What question I am most likely to ask about your choice of policy in each of the runs? Specify the question I would ask and then answer it.

I need thew results from the website to have a completed grade
VERY important to use the website simulation
