To answer the questions below, please think about her examples and reflect upon our school’s mission to “provide transformative and collaborative learning that embraces the values of social inclusion” as illustrated on our mission and vision page. “The process of improving the ability, opportunity, and dignity of people, disadvantaged on the basis of their identity, to take part in society.” (2013, World Bank Publication) Of the 4 questions listed below, please select 2 questions for your initial posts. Submit to the matching thread titles on the forum: Question One: When working with different individuals and communities, how might we as social workers prepare ourselves to engage with respect? How can we fulfill the obligation to “dismantle barriers to human dignity”? What examples of “barriers to human dignity” were raised by Fatuma? Question Two: What ethical dilemmas might arise when working with someone from another culture? (i.e., gender issues, the meaning of self-determination) How might our professional code of ethics provide us guidance in these instances? Question Three: How does Fatuma’s talk help to underscore the importance of thinking about health as defined by the World Health Organization and embraced by our school of social work? Question Four: Fatuma speaks to the importance of self-awareness. Why do you think this is essential for us as social workers? How does this enable us to actualize the values and ideas put forth in our professional codes of ethics? How can we foster a more critical self-awareness in ourselves?

  13. How to measure quality
  14. Recovery Project Schedule Planning: Using MS Project, develop a comprehensive recovery project schedule plan outlining completion dates, tasks, and relevant milestones. You should include all relevant artifacts that pertain to scheduling aspects of the project plan. In your project schedule plan, you could consider:
  15. Appropriate task dependencies and constraints
  16. The mix of task relationships (SS, FF, SF, FS)
  17. Duration of each task
  18. Planned vs. actual dates
  19. Recovery Project Risk Planning: Craft a recovery plan for identifying and monitoring risk. In your recovery plan, you could consider:
  20. The amount of uncertainty in the project and how to deal with it
  21. The threats of greatest concern
  22. How each threat should be dealt with
  23. Recovery Risk Control: Determine corrective actions and controls to deal with uncertainty and its impact on the project, based on your risk plan. Ideas to consider may include:
  24. Appropriate quantification of the risks (probability vs. impact)

Early Childhood Trauma and Mental Disability

Early Childhood Trauma and Mental Disability ONLY NEED FOUR- FIVE SEPARATE PARAGRAPHS.

Early Childhood Trauma and Mental Disability
Early Childhood Trauma and Mental Disability

Please write one paragraph for each NEW (only two new) source given (2 paragraphs total), and one-two paragraphs describing the two people I interviewed who faced trauma as a child and were affected mentally in a negative way as an adult (formed a mental disorder), and one long overall conclusion that explains how my sources (eight total) supports my thesis that I propose for the paper. The thesis of my paper states and tries to prove that “early childhood trauma affects the humans’ neurobiological stress coping system, which affects people as an adult, causing them to live with a form of mental disability.

Early Childhood Trauma and Mental Disability

Most people who suffer with disadvantages/trauma as a child will suffer with a form of mental disability as an adult, due to the changes to the brain’s neurological system.” Try to explain how each source gives an example to how trauma, pain, abuse, SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS** have changed children and infants mentally AS AN ADULT in a bad way. Each source has its own paragraph** explain how environmental and social factors play a major role in altering one’s mental health strongly in their early years of life*** CONNECT to how stress, social factors, environmental factors cause people to act a certain way, live a certain way, physically and mentally CHANGE (like mental and physical disability). For the interview paragraph: (you can separate into two paragraphs) I conducted two separate interviews with people who underwent traumatic experiences in their lives as a child/infant and learned how it affected their neurological system in a negative way as an adult. This paragraph has to connect how their experiences as a child has affected them negatively as an adult and explain that they agree that their childhood experiences has made them this way as an adult.

Early Childhood Trauma and Mental Disability

**Basically explain how this information from my informants PROVES MY THESIS CORRECT. One person I interviewed was Elliot (male ), lost his father when he was seven. Was left in care with his abusive mother. As an adult, he now suffers with depression, PTSD, and schrophrenia. Takes prescription drugs daily and also smokes cigarettes daily to “erase the memories.” Another person I interviewed: Jessica (female), parents divorced when she was five, both parents were abusive physically and verbally, always had panic attacks as a child. Now as an adult, she suffers with depression and panic disorder. She is easily triggered to get a panic attack in which she feels she cannot control. This is an add on to the paper you previously wrote. I just need to add information from the two new sources I provided below ( 2 paragraphs ), information about my interviews (1-2 paragraphs), and need a conclusion that explains how childhood trauma alters one’s mind more strongly as a child rather than at an adult stage, causing that child to grow up developing a form of mental disability due to the mental damage developed as a child.

Early Childhood Trauma and Mental Disability Conclusion

You can use the previous sources to write the CONCLUSION only. Conclusion basically explains how I proved my THESIS correct with my sources. Thank you so much. 10.1: Coursework 1: Assessments requirements for: Health Behaviour Change Intervention (HBCI)
The assessment involves developing a theory and evidence-based intervention to address a health problem/issue of your choice. Your essay should be structured in the way similar to that of a proposal. This could include one of the following topics, although you can choose your own but need to check with ML for relevance.
• Substance misuse; smoking, alcohol or drug abuse
• Decreasing sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) e.g. by promoting condom use
• Eating a healthier diet
• Taking more exercise
• Adhering to medication e.g. asthma
• Screening uptake e.g. vaccinations etc.
You need to select a theory or a theoretical construct/s to base your intervention on and provide justification for your selection using evidence from the body of knowledge in health psychology. Your intervention should consider the following issues:
• Appropriate delivery settings and select one e.g. community centre, schools, religious settings, clinics, hospitals etc.
• Your target population e.g. babies, toddlers, young /older children, youths, adults’ older adults, elderly / age, gender /culture/ disability / health status etc. and how you will ensure your intervention reaches them.
• Consider the person/people who will deliver the intervention and how they will do this and select appropriate delivery techniques and strategies, according to the literature (not what you think!)
Keeping things clear and precise will be critical to managing to achieve this and write up the justification for the decisions you have made
10.2. Assessment structure guidance
The section below aims to guide you on how to structure your HBCI proposal and outline possible contents for each section. With regards to supporting evidence you are expected to gather information from a variety of sources including academic journals and appropriate on-line resources. Do not rely solely on textbooks to source materials and information. In addition, you should ensure that your assessment does not regurgitate lecture material, but instead focuses on a more specific part of a given area, and looks at it in more depth. For example, you may want to critically evaluate the current literature on a given area e.g. obesity crisis, and suggest strategies in which health behaviour change interventions can appropriately be expanded upon by future research.

1. Title
• Encapsulate the health issue and target audience

2. Background: (1000 words approx.)
• Context to a contemporary health problem identified in your target population, e.g. why it’s important to target; could make use of statistics relating to certain health and illness issues in different geographical contexts and population groups
• Possible consequences of not addressing the health issue etc.

3. Proposed intervention and its accompanying strategies/techniques (1000 words approx.)
• Evidence identifying the proposed strategies / BCTs to tackle the health problem
• Evidence in describing the theoretical mechanisms underpinning strategies to promote /decrease target behaviour change in similar / target populations (e.g. modelling, rewards and praise etc.)

4. Evaluation: (1000 words approx.)
• The likely impact of your proposed intervention; what can contemporary health psychology-based theories/ constructs identified, tell us about why your health behaviour change intervention will work?
• How persuasive your arguments are in favour of your intervention e.g. level of insight and evaluation (e.g. methodological considerations relating to identified supporting evidence)

5. Conclusion (500 words approx.)
• Suggested recommendations for practice regarding the intervention, and possible research in light of the evidence identified
• Utility of health psychology theory/theories underpinning your chosen strategies

6. Referencing
• Provide a full list of all the sources in CU Harvard referencing format that you have consulted for this assessment.
