Theoretical Explanations of ASD Essay Paper

Theoretical Explanations of ASD Imagine if Mrs. Rivera, your hypothetical neighbor, and friend, was told that her son Cody’s problems were caused by her poor parenting.

Perhaps a well-meaning relative had read some of Bettelheim’s works and insisted that she must have been emotionally cold towards Cody at a critical time in his development. Therefore, you can understand why she was in tears when she’d visited you that day! Then she heard an actress on a daytime talk show asserting that ASD was directly caused by immunizations, and she recalled that he had started acting differently shortly after she had taken him for his scheduled shots. You might expect that Mrs. Rivera would be quite confused and would be looking for answers as to what caused Cody’s problems. You look for information online to help her explore Cody’s problems and find an interesting blog addressing the causes of ASD.

Theoretical Explanations of ASD Task Preparation

Your task this week is to prepare content suitable for a blog entry for a popular website aimed at parents of children with developmental disorders. In your blog entry, analyze the major theories that have been proposed to explain ASD and to provide your own view of its cause(s).

Specifically, your blog entry should:

Describe the theories you learned about in your readings in a way that will be clearly understandable to the general audience of parents.

Identify which of the theories you find most likely to be valid, based on your understanding of the research and/or your personal perspectives and convictions.

Support your statements with one or more outside reference(s) from your required readings and your own research.

In addition to creating your blog, you will also submit a copy of your blog, along with the link to your blog, as with all other written assignments.

Length of the blog: 5-7 pages, not including title and reference pages

Divine Command Theory the Morality of God
Divine Command Theory the Morality of God

One of the required sources must be Kierkegaard’s “Ethic of Love“. The book is pretty hard to find, so if you would rather use a source talking about the text that also works. Otherwise, I’m mostly addressing this from a philosophical point of view, so, It’s necessary to have some background in both philosophy and theology. feel free to be creative with it, and, if you have any questions make sure to ask me. Thanks!

Draft of Learning Theory Application Presentation

In this assignment, you’re tasked with creating the initial draft of a comprehensive presentation on an influential pedagogical theory, how that theory is structured, and its application in a real-world setting.

Note: This assignment will require independent research which mean some out side source. You are required to use at least three outside sources of information. Plan accordingly.

Create a 12-20-slide presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint or another presentation software, including full audio narration, on your assigned theory. The audience for this presentation would be teaching colleagues attending a professional development conference.

Your presentation should include the following requirements:

  • Analyze the key principles associated with your assigned theory.
  • Identify a classroom situation in which you would be able to facilitate a teaching episode through the application of the key elements associated with your learning theory. Explain the application of your theory to this situation.
  • Explain how you would use your learning theory to create an optimal learning environment.

Include at least three APA style references from sources other than what i provide

Applying Theory to a Practice Problem

It is important to understand how middle-range theory can help you in your everyday environment as a nurse. In the previous assignment, you identified a practical problem that emerged from the evidence in the extant literature or professional practice. In this assignment, you will explore and apply middle-range theory to solve the specific problem that you identified in the previous assignment.

DIRECTIONS:
Consider the problem that you described in the previous assignment and the instructor feedback about that assignment.

Write a paper (1,000 to 1,500 words) that describes how middle-range theory can be applied to the identified problem. The paper should include the following:

A brief summary of the problem.

A description of a middle-range theory that could be applied to the problem. Is this middle-range theory appropriate to your identified problem?

A brief discussion of the middle-range theory’s origins.

A discussion of how the middle-range theory has been previously applied.

A discussion of the application of the middle-range theory to the identified problem. How would your practice change by incorporating this theory?
Prepare this assignment according to guidelines found in the APA Style Guide

Rhetorical Construction and Sustainability of Themes

Rhetorical Construction and Sustainability of Themes In your first project, you branched out beyond the texts we’d read and into popular culture in order to examine the rhetorical (re)construction and sustainability of those themes.

Rhetorical Construction and Sustainability of Themes

In this second project, you will build toward a discussion of society and use your rhetorical skills to construct your own creative rendition of an argument you’ve found in one of our class readings. After reading Why We Can’t Wait, what is the one group in your society that you believe cannot wait any longer for equal treatment?

The phrase “your society” is flexible; you should consider possible minority groups from your home country, the United States, any other country or region that you identify as a part of, or even other societies you identify as a part of (e.g. religious groups, the academic society of students or international students, etc.). Please also remember that “minority” is a term of power, not numbers.

Where possible, draw parallels between your argument and King’s, but make sure that your argument is your own.

Project Requirements:

Minimum 800 words

It should contain an argument for empowerment of a minority group.

The audience should fit the format (and vice versa, of course).

King’s work will be a cited text. Additional outside sources are possible, but not required

Creativity is highly encouraged.

Applications of Graph Theory Essay Paper

Applications of Graph Theory

Applications of Graph Theory

In 1736, a famous Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler (1707 – 1783) started the work in the area of Graph Theory through his successful attempt in solving the problem of “Seven Bridges of Konigsberg.” Graph Theory solved many problems in multiple fields (Chinese Postman Problem, DNA fragment assembly, and aircraft scheduling.) In Chemistry, Graph Theory is used in the study of molecules, construction of bonds in chemistry, and the study of atoms. In Biology, Graph Theory is used in the study of breeding patterns or tracking the spread of disease.

Write a three to five (3-5) page paper in which you:

  • Choose two (2) applications for graph theory within your area of specialization (Networking, Security, Databases, Data Mining, Programming, etc.).
  • Examine how these applications are being used in your specialization.
  • Determine how graph theory has advanced the knowledge in your area of specialization.
  • Conclude how you will apply graph theory in your area of specialization.

Use at least three (3) quality academic resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and other Websites do not quality as academic resources.

b. Maintenance or motivational factors? If so, which one(s)?

c. Existence, relatedness, or growth needs?

d. Behavior modification?

e. Goal setting?

3. Explain the differences between negative reinforcement and punishment?

4. The Piano Builder

Waverly Bird builds pianos from scratch and is also a consultant to a piano manufacturer. In the latter job, he is on call and works about one week a month, which sometimes includes traveling, to solve customers’ problems. He also rebuilds about a dozen grand pianos every year for special customers. However, according to Bird, the most satisfying part of his life is his hobby of building pianos from the beginning. “It’s the part that keeps a man alive,” he says. The challenge of the work is what lures Bird onward. He derives satisfaction from precision and quality, and he comments, “Details make the difference. When you cut a little corner here and a little corner there, you’ve cut a big hole. A piano is like the human body; all the parts are important.” Bird has a substantial challenge in making a whole piano. His work combines skills in cabinetmaking, metalworking, and engineering, with knowledge of acoustics and a keen ear for music. It requires great precision, because a tiny misalignment would ruin a piano’s tune. It also requires versatility: A keyboard must be balanced to respond to the touch of a finger; the pinblock, on the other hand, must withstand up to 20 tons of pressure. In addition, Bird had to make many of his own piano construction tools. Bird has built 40 pianos in his 34-year career. Though construction takes nearly a year, he sells his pianos at the modest price of a commercial piano. He is seeking not money but challenge and satisfaction. He says, “The whole business is a series of closed doors. You learn one thing, and there’s another closed door waiting to be opened.” Bird says his big dream is to build a grand piano: “It is the one thing I haven’t done yet and want to do.”

How could a manufacturer of pianos build the motivation Bird has now into its employees?

Karl Marx’s theories of political economy and ‘estranged’ (alienated) labor

What are Karl Marx’s theories of political economy and ‘estranged’ (alienated) labor? In other words,
how, in a Marxian sense, does society function? What exactly is a Marxist interpretation of history?
(You absolutely should employ terms such as economic determinism, alienation, division of labor,
class struggle, communism, humanism, etc.) Conversely, how do some of the critical theorists
whose works we read complicate and push back against Marx’s relatively myopic vision of human
agency? (There are many ways to answer this question: Sara Ahmed argues both that one can be
alienated in society based on their sexual orientation and that material objects serve to orientate
(rather than alienate) us in this world. Mikhail Bakunin accused Marx of seeking to create a political
hierarchy similar to that of absolutist monarchs. Allan G. Johnson adds the crucial layers of race and
gender to Marxian analysis. Eleanor Marx prodded her father to consider the extent to which gender
itself is a system of power that is perhaps just as oppressive and ‘unnatural’ as capitalism.) Whom,
to your mind, offers the most important critique(s) of Marx’s work? Finally, are Marx’s ideas still
relevant today in 2019? Do we see evidence of Marxian alienation in the work of Barbara
Ehrenreich?
What can be done to lessen the alienation of workers from themselves, their fellow humans, and the
natural world within the capitalist system?
